When I was in college, video was just starting to gain a lot of traction on the internet, especially on social media. I signed up for a multimedia class as an elective and the rest is history. I fell in love with the additional pieces available to create a visual story. Instead of simply making a visual for the eyes, suddenly I could bring in the element of sound to make the story further come alive.

A non-profit organization in Dover, PA - Greater Dover Area Dollars for Scholars - hosts the annual Eagle MayDay 8K, 5K, and 1-Mile Fun Run to raise money for college scholarships. Their president, Katie Callahan, aims to bring a community together to support their young.

Reflections at the Joe Paterno Statue
The weekend of Joe Paterno’s death brought visitors from all over the region and beyond to the little town of State College to share grief as a community. Penn State football fans gather around Paterno’s statue – which has since been taken down – outside of Beaver Stadium on the morning after his death.

Maggie Muir
Maggie Muir, of State College, Pa., has been running marathons since 2008 when she competed in the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton, Pa.
